Music Lover and Mental Health Advocate
My name is Jessica Ramirez and I am a 17 year-old Latina from South Los Angeles. Although I have no experience playing or writing music, I have always appreciated it as a form of expression. Growing up as a low-income, first-generation American has not been the easiest journey. I have struggled with my mental health for some time and I have always turned to music as an escape. Through this blog, I hope to share some of the artists and the music that has helped me through difficult times in hopes that others will find it helpful.
